Someone who posted nothing but one drawing so far, starting some blog wannabe!?
Yes, that sounds just about right!
Since I did pick the Writer aura for my profile, I may as well sit down and type a few words about what's been going on through my little mind. However, here's a word of warning to you, the reader:
This is mostly a bunch of boring things and several instances of thinking aloud, but in this "typing into the internet" form. Sorry about that!
Since this has been cleared up, let's go!
So, to begin with, I am a bit of a whimsical being when it comes to hobbies, both online and offline.
This means that I don't have a specific way to spend my free time, it mostly turns into a spur of the moment thing. Time killing may turn into doodling, reading whatever, spending entire afternoons at the pool, bird watching at times... not highly productive things, I know!
And during one of these times, a thought came to my mind. Writing is something I often do, as well! Not in professional quality (as you definitely have realized by now!), and not consistently either, the fact that I have more story ideas and drafts than actual written works is proof of that.
So I had this happy idea while I was bored:
I want to start some kind of blog or online journal and write about whatever there!
Various options have also been considered, given that my general idea would be very simple casual writing about several topics, plus my own thoughts and stuff. It does sound kinda stock, yes, but chill stock if that makes any sense!
Said options would include:
- Ideas and thoughts can be expressed in Twitter-- I mean, X. While I am there too, I don't use it that much and I mostly have it to follow a small handful of other accounts, save for the very rare random posting.
- An actual blog! However, from what I've looked up, the options for casual blogging seem to be slightly limited, and it's best for those who can stick to one topic (which makes it easier for the readers, so that's understandable).
- One of these so-called web journals, which are more oriented towards personal use. I have not looked too deep into them, but we would be running into issues that are similar to blogs', as they are very much alike.
- This little space right here, which is the reason I'm writing this one entry as well! While I already know how this works and it feels comfortable, I'll have to apologize to whoever peeked here and had to put up with my writing!
However, with this last option, the poor user who strolled by may just end up thinking something along the lines of "Why can't this Tea person just keep her written rants confined somewhere else, darn it?". Truly, a tragedy of our time.
I may just look up further into whatever options that are out there for my own sort of wild typing and, if I happen to pick one outside of here, discretely link to it. You know, for those curious minds that would want to read a very variable number of lines of text about what's going on inside the mind of someone who picked the name of a drink for her online usernames.
With all the due apologies to the reader (you!) if they made it all the way here, this is all I have to say in this little box of text, fairly close to the drawing of a box that I made a while ago.
The number of boxes is steadily increasing...
Anyways,
Tea out! đľ
